Presentation Skills: Three Types Of Speakers
Mark Twain said: “There are two types of speakers – those that are nervous and those that are liars.”
I disagree. I think there are 3 types. Nervous, liars and prepared.
We believe preparation, how certain you are about your next presentation, is the key. Certainty about the key messages, the structure, and your own natural style means that nerves aren’t the issue.
While you still may have butterflies, they are, as the old saying goes, flying in formation.
I love my job. It’s to help people overcome this awful fear and to succeed in their careers.
